About In The Flow Studios
Our History
It's a family affair that started 30 plus years ago. Aurora, Kadante, and Samuel have worked together from the beginning. As a martial arts school owner, Aurora, raised her children at their family martial arts studio. Kadante was 18 months old when he participated in his first martial arts denomination and Samuel was 2 1/1 years old when he participated in his first demonstration. The studio was their second home. For years they spent 6 to 7 days a week at the studio as well as celebrated birthdays and holidays there. Their lives were dedicated to sharing the martial arts via teaching their students, hosting workshops and participating in martial arts demonstrations and performances on stages all over California.
Kadante and Samuel grew to be not only great martial arts practitioners but also incredibly talented teachers. Their versatility, empathy and experience have made them cherished teachers for kids 4 years old to adults in their 70's. The brothers continued to develop new skills in multiple disciplines of visual and performing arts and incorporated their knowledge into creating new martial arts programs, new performing arts pieces and shows.
Under Aurora's creative direction Kadante and Samuel were able to develop three different Filipino Martial Arts youth programs. They also went on to develop a cultural performing arts company and to choreograph and perform in dozens of shows.
